The Regional Government publishes its expenditures and the salaries of public employees
Last year, the president of the Regional Government earned 77,295 euros before taxes. This is one of the data points that appears today in the Transparency Portal of the Government of Extremadura. 688 workers in the Regional Government have higher salaries than the president.

The Government of Extremadura publishes its expenditures and the salaries of those employees who earn more than 50.000 euros, as the President of the Regional Government, who earned 77,295 euros last year, four per cent less that what José Antonio Monago earned in his last year as head of the Executive branch. In Extremadura, there are more than 80 civil servants that earn above one hundred thousand euros.
