Accompanied by some of the directors and actors that will take the stage of the Roman Theatre in Mérida, Jesús Cimarro highlighted some of the aspects of this new edition, including the combination of veterans and young actors in the seven shows and the incorporation of Cáparra, a former Roman city in the north of Cáceres, as a new setting for the Mérida Festival, as had already been done at the theatres in Medellín and Regina, in the province of Badajoz.
