24% of the population of the Canary Islands could suffer from mental health disorders. These are the conclusions reached in a recent study carried out by the Canarian Health Service, which also reveals that women are more likely to suffer than men. 27% of women compared with 20% of men.
According to the study carried out by the SCS (Canarian Health Service), 10% of survey respondents have thought about committing suicide. And the number of adolescents who attempt suicide is on the rise.
