Pretérito perfecto + yet (para las formas negativa e interrogativa): Have the police found the car yet? They haven't told me yet.
Pasado simple para narrar una serie de hechos que han sucedido en el pasado
Preguntas y respuestas con el pasado simple: How did it happen? When did it happen? It happened at 10 o'clock. Did you see the registration number? No, I didn't./Yes I did.
