Hovi Star representará a Israel en Eurovisión 2016 con la canción "Made of stars". Hovi es uno de los cantantes más populares en Israel desde que en 2009 participara en el talent show de más audiencia del país, el Kokhav Nolad. Desde entonces ha publicado varios singles y, además, ha compuesto para otros artistas. Participar en Eurovisión es uno de sus sueños desde que era niño, y ahora que ha llegado su oportunidad quiere que su actuación de Estocolmo no solo refleje su amor por la música, sino también su gusto por la moda.
