En el centenario del nacimiento de John Coltrane recordamos el disco que el saxofonista grabó en marzo de 1963 con el cantante Johnny Hartman acompañados por Mc Coy Tyner (piano), Jimmy Garrison (contrabajo) y Elvin Jones (batería): 'The say it´s wonderful', 'Dedicated to you', 'My one and only love', 'Lush life', 'You are too beautiful'' y 'Autumn serenade'. Para completar la hora, 'I just dropped to say hello', disco que Hartman grabó unos meses más tarde, con los guitarristas Kenny Burrell y Jim Hall, el pianista Hank Jones o el saxofonista Illinois Jacquet, y que contiene canciones como 'Charade', 'In the wee small hours of the morning', 'Don´t you know I care', 'Kiss and run', 'If I´m lucky', 'I just dropped to say hello', 'Stairway to the stars' y 'Don´t call it love'.
