Nicolas Jackson discovers Wakefield-Usera Connection, a unique Anglo-Spanish cultural project which has seen British artists from different disciplines team up with Spanish counterparts in Madrid to create a series of workshops, peformances, an audiovisual installation and even a short film. The project was organised at Madrid coworking cultural space Espacio Oculto and its title, Wakefield-Usera Connection, refers to the Madrid borough of Usera where it took place and the English town where the British artists were selected.
