Fragile diplomacy and the "uninhabitable"

The deal between Iran and the P-5+1 (Britain, France, the US, China, Russia and Germany) represents a rare victory of diplomacy over belligerence in a region ravaged by war.  Israel opposes the deal and the US government is hard pressed to defend it against detractors.  Another UN report warns Gaza will be "uninhabitable" in five years as a result of increasingly destructive military offensives and the embargo.  The EU raises the number of refugees it will take from Syria and other countries as Spanish cities seek ways to palliate the humanitarian crisis.  Bloomberg reports on the profits of gay tourism in Spain.
