World-class tennis in Madrid

Today's program focuses on the Madrid Open clay court tennis tournament, currently underway in the Spanish capital, and the Aranjuez Early Music Festival, which takes place each year in the town of Aranjuez, just south of Madrid. The 26th edition of this prize-winning festival began this past weekend with a performance of Monteverdi madrigals by world-renowned Belgian conductor Philippe Herreweghe and the similarly renowned vocal group he founded half a century ago, Collegium Vocale Gent.
