The Belairs se formaron en la zona de South Bay, Los Angeles, y su primer single de 1961 los convirtió en pioneros de la música surf. El sello Munster reedita una compilación titulada “Mr Moto; the origins of surf music (1960-1963)” que recoge todo el material plasmado por aquellos adolescentes en su breve pero impactante existencia.
