Familiares de las víctimas se reunirán en el Wold Trade Center donde los nuevos edificios ya están en construcción con los nombres de aquellos que fallecieron y a los que serán dedicados. La sombra de una nueva amenaza terrorista ha obligado a Nueva York a blindarse con extremas medidas de seguridad para conmemorar este domingo el simbólico décimo aniversario del 11-S, al que acudirán el presidente de Estados Unidos, Barack Obama, y George W. Bush, el entonces mandatario. La importancia que tiene este año el aniversario no se debe solamente a que se cumple una década desde aquellos atroces atentados que mataron a cerca de 3.000 personas, sino también porque será la primera conmemoración tras la muerte de Osama Bin Laden a manos de comandos estadounidenses en mayo pasado, en Pakistán.
