The extradition trial for Julian Assange, the founder of Wikileaks, has resumed in England this week. The Australian journalist and publisher faces espionage charges in the United States and up to 175 years in prison for publishing secret documents containing evidence of US war crimes in Iraq and Afghanistan as well as crimes against humanity elsewhere. Journalists, activists and other supporters gathered outside the Old Bailey courthouse protesting the abuses Assange has suffered at the hands of the US and British authorities - the conditions of his current year and a half imprisonment as well as the extradition trial itself, closed to observers, and calling for his release.

Today's program also features an "alegrías" performed live in 1987 by cantaor Camarón de la Isla with guitarist Tomatito in Paris, and more.
