14.04.2010A People's Liberation Army (PLA) commander (C) gives order to soldiers on their way to the epicentre of a magnitude 6.9 earthquake which hit Yushu County, at Hainan county of Qinghai province April 15, 2010. The earthquake on Wednesday killed about 300 people in the mountainous Tibetan Plateau in southwest China and left more than 8,000 injured as houses, schools and offices collapsed. A series of quakes and aftershocks caused low, brick buildings in Qinghai Province's ethnically Tibetan Yushu county to collapse, residents and state media said.
