We report on The Fundación Arquitectura y Sociedad (Architecture and Society Foundation), which held its third Congress in Pamplona from June 11th to the 13th, entitled "Necessary Architecture." Meanwhile, this year's Asturias Prize for Literature was announced earlier this month and honors the Irish novelist John Banville, author of the Man Booker Award winner, "The Sea."  Banville spoke to Radio Nacional shortly after learning that he'd won the prize.  Then we meet Indonesia's new ambassador to Spain, Yuli Mumpuni Widarso.  And then, in "North by Southwest," Nicolas Jackson meets British musician and producer Femme, AKA Laura Bettinson, ahead of her performance at Vida Festival in Catalonia. Formerly performing as Dimbleby & Capper, Laura Bettinson relaunched herself as Femme and recently won the "Rising Star" Award from the Mayor of London's Music Fund. Laura is also a member of Afrobeat/Electronica trio Ultraista.
