The Irish in Spain's Civil War

 Last month, the Irish Embassy, in collaboration with Spain's center for National Defence Studies, presented a new volume on the history of the Irish Presence in the Spanish Military.  Irish historians Dermot Keogh and Mervyn O'Driscoll from University College Cork were in Madrid to give an overview of their chapter, dedicated to Ireland's military engagement in Spain in the 20th century, which, is to say the Irish participation in the Spanish Civil War (16/04/14).
