70th anniversary of the liberation of Mauthausen

Today's program is dedicated to the Spanish involvement in the Second World War.  Alison Hughes compiles voices from the RNE archives, of historians, politicians and surivivors of the Nazi concentration camp at Mauthausen known as the "Camp of the Spaniards" because of the organization of its Republican prisoners. Among those Spaniards was Francisco Boix, a photographer who managed to get SS photographs documenting the horrors out of the camp and finally into the hands of the courts at Nuremberg and Dachau.
