San Isidro Festivities in Madrid

 Today's program takes a look at a few of the traditional aspects of Madrid's San Isidro Fair: the city's Patron Saint and his miracles, some of the foods enjoyed at this time of year, the bullfight, and the music.  As the Spanish capital celebrates its traditions and nostalgias, it continues to undergo a constant transformation, beginning with its real estate, as can be seen in the case of the Casa Labra tavern by the Puerta del Sol.
