"Pequeños lujos de domingo" (small luxuries of a Sunday) is the title of the debut album by the Madrid-based pop-rock duo La Naranja Blossom--a name in Spanglish that, translated into English, immediately summons to mind the American south, and in particular The Orange Blossom Special, a luxury train between New York and Miami, Florida, that operated from 1925 to 1953, as well as a hit album called "The Orange Blossom Special" released in 1965 by Johnny Cash, with a photo on the record sleeve of Cash sitting atop the train.  And there's also a cocktail called the Orange Blossom.  It's a gin and orange juice cocktail (some recipes also call for vermouth) that's drunk, among other places, throughout Truman Capote's non-fiction novel "In Cold Blood."  La Naranja Blossom are Adrián García, vocals, and Juan Carlos Moya, acoustic and electric guitars and backup vocals.  They're accompanied on the album by Pablo Sanpa on guitar, Juan Rojo on bass, and Senén García on drums.  Of this debut album by La Naranja Blossom, music reviewer Juan Puchades calls for "...a vote of confidence for them, because "Pequeños lujos de domingo" reconciles one with Spanish rock'n'roll, demonstrating that with well-known materials it's still possible to create something new that shows passion and raises the spirits" (see his full review (in Spanish, of course!) in www.efeeme.com) (02/10/14).
