In "This, That and the Other" we talk to two Americans, Tracy Grumbach Oliviera and Christen Factor, who were walking the Way of Saint James recently. They had been on the road for a week and expected to reach their destination, the Galician capital of Santiago de Compostela, a week after this interview. Known in Spanish as the Camino de Santiago, the Way of St. James is a route which has been followed for centuries by pilgrims from across Europe who have made the journey to Santiago de Compostela in the northwestern Spanish region of Galicia. According to tradition the cathedral of Santiago, which was officially consecrated in 1128 in the presence of king Alfonos IX of León, was built where the relics of St. James the Apostle were discovered in the 9th century (28/03/12).
