Tamara Rojo & English National Ballet

 The music which opens the programme comes from Igor Stravinsky’s Firebird and will be all too familiar to our guest today, Tamara Rojo, Artistic Director of the English National Ballet and formerly principal dancer with the United Kingdom’s Royal Ballet. Tamara Rojo was awarded the prestigious Príncipe de Asturias prize in Spain and has also been honoured with the Laurence Olivier Award amongst many other international tributes to her contribution to dance.
