In this double edition of the programme we travel to London where we visit Britain’s oldest dance company, Rambert, formerly known as Rambert Dance Company and before that as Ballet Rambert. Rambert was established in 1926 and is now Britain’s flagship modern dance company, employing more dancers and artists than any other in the UK. In today’s programme we meet Artistic Director, Mark Baldwin, who has been in the post since 2002, which makes him the longest serving artistic director Rambert has known. Before that he was also a dancer and choreographer with the company.
