Face to Face

Frank Smith talks to Nicolas Jackson, a contributor to our broadcasts who directs and presents "North by Southwest," and who has also just directed and produced two Spanish plays for BBC radio. The plays are being heard on BBC Radio 3 and Radio 4 out of London. One of the plays--The Boy at the Back (El chico de la ultima fila) is by Juan Mayorga, one of Spain's most celebrated modern dramatists, and has already been broadcast on Radio 3. The second play, Demolition, by Eugenio Amaya, will be broadcast on Radio 4 at the end of the month. In each case the play can be heard on the BBC's podcasts for a week after being broadcast.
