This week we report on and discuss: the visit to Madrid of European Commissioner for Climate Action, Connie Hedegaard, to present the EU's latest campaign, under the motto "A world you like with a climate you like;" Venezuela in the wake of the presidential election won by Nicolas Maduro; and guns and gun control in the U.S. after the failed attempt by U.S. president Barak Obama to put legislation in place that would reduce the possibility of massacres such as the one in Newtown, Connecticut this past December (19/04/13).
