David Chipperfield and Dan Tepfer

Today's program has a dual focus, architecture and music: an exhibition at the Museo ICO and a concert at the Fundación Juan March, both in Madrid.  The retrospective of works by David Chipperfield Architects offers a privileged view into the process of design and construction of this award-winning firm.  The latest concert in the series "Recycle, Reuse, Recompose" presents pianist Dan Tepfer who spoke with me about Bach's Goldberg Variations and his own jazz improvisations emerging from them.
