Justin Coe talks to American pianist, singer, composer, producer and writer Ben Sidran, who has just been in Madrid for a week's stint at the Café Central, one of the Spanish capital's top jazz venues. The Café Central is celebrating its 30th anniversary and the Ben Sidran Quartet (Ben Sidran, piano; Bob Rockwell, saxophone; Billy Peterson, stand-up bass, and Leo Sidran, drums) played before sold-out audiences every night last week.
