English language broadcast - 29/11/12

After the newscast, which includes an in-depth look at news from Latin American in "Hands Across the Water," today's broadcast continues with "Other Voices," in which Palestinian dramatist, actress and documentary filmmaker Abeer Zeibek Haddad talks about her film "Duma" which means Dolls in Arabic and which confronts the taboo of the sexual abuse of girls. Duma was screened at Madrid's La Casa Encendida where it won the Urban TV 2012 Award. Then, in "This, That & the Other," Justin Coe talks to American pianist, singer, composer, producer and writer Ben Sidran, who has just been in Madrid for a week-long stint at the Café Central, one of the Spanish capital's top jazz venues.
