English language broadcast - 07/12/12

After the news, today's broadcast features "Face to Face," in which Frank Smith talks to the European Commissioner for Employment, Laszlo Andor of Hungary, who arrived in Madrid to announce details of Brussels' new initiative for youth employment package. Then we take another look at the Spanish media, and in particular two cases that have made the news lately, one involving a blogger who brought down a popular prime-time talk show and was almost sued by its parent company, a multinational media giant, and the other, a popular journalist whose report on the energy industry's "oligopoly" in Spain almost got him in trouble.
