After the news and sports, in "Other Voices," Alison Hughes reports on a recent exhibition of art by James Castle at Madrid's Queen Sofía Modern Art Museum. She also looks at a Spanish village that painted itself blue to promote a Sony Corporation film about the smurfs. Then we hear the music of a woman known as the "voice of Mexico", singer Chavela Vargas, who has recently celebrated her 93rd birthday. She has also been named as a candidate for this year's prestigious Prince of Asturias Award for the Arts and she has released a new album dedicated to Spanish poet Federico García Lorca.
