After the news comes "This, That & the Other," with the focus on Chicago bluesman Eddie C. Campbell, who has toured Spain a number of times in recent years and who is currently hospitalized after suffering a heart attack and stroke while performing in Germany this past January. We hear music from Campbell's two latest albums on Delmark Records and talk to Quique Gómez of the Madrid blues band Gatos Bizcos, Eddie C. Campbell's backing band in Spain, about his friendship with the veteran bluesman and the benefit concert he has organized in the Spanish capital this week to help pay Campbell's medical expenses.
