English language broadcast - 01/04/13

After the newscast we review today's Spanish press, and then take a look at the weekend sports results. Then, in "Rock in Spain," Mario Borrego listens to the music of an up-and-coming heavy metal band from Madrid. After bringing out the EP "Parseval" the group Soma's Cure recently released their debut full-length album titled "Equilibrium." The band is young--all five members are in their early 20s--and this is perhaps part of the reason why they have gained a strong reputation for high-energy live concerts.
