After the news, which includes an interview with Daniel Levy, the London Director of the Middle East Programme at the European Council on Foreign Relations, on the formation of a new government in Israel, we report on the Spanish poet Jose Manuel Caballero Bonald, who has just received an honorary doctorate from the UNED, the Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia, Spain's national distance learning university. Caballero Bonald is also the recipient of the 2012 Cevantes Award, the most prestigious literary award in the Spanish language, the ceremony for which will be held on April 23rd in Cervantes' birthplace of Alcalá de Henares.
