After the newscast Justin Coe talks to Maestro Josep Caballé-Domenech, one of Europe's rising young orchestra conductors. Caballé-Domenech, who hails from Barcelona, is the music director of the Colorado Springs Philharmonic and has just finished his first season as music director of the Staatskapelle Halle in Germany. He has conducted leading orchestras from around the world in symphonic works as well as opera and ballet. To wind up the broadcast we return to Vitoria and the Basque capital's famous jazz festival, whose 38th edition was held this month. Among those performing at this year's festival was the contemporary gospel sextet Take 6, whose a cappella music we hear, before taking to the streets of Vitoria, where the old time jazz band known as the New Orleans Swamp Donkeys performed twice a day at different locations during the week-long music festival.
