James Williamson fue el guitarrista de los Stooges en el álbum “Raw power”, coautor de clásicos como “Search and destroy” y de las grabaciones que plasmó posteriormente Iggy Pop, que quedarían recogidas en discos como “Kill city”. Williamson se alía ahora con el cantante Frank Meyer (Streetwalkin’ Cheetahs) y la violinista Petra Haden (That Dog, Decemberist, Tito and Tarantula...) para formar The Pink Hearts, debutando con el disco “Behind the shade”.
