El 38º Euroradio Folk Festival de 2017 se celebró en la ciudad checa de Çesky Krumlov, organizado por la Çesky Rohzlas o Radio Nacional de la República Checa. Este evento, itinerante, lo acoge cada año una emisora pública europea. En 2017 se celebró entre el 19 y el 22 de julio. Cada emisora pública europea envía un representante. En total fueron 21 conciertos de los que esta semana oiremos los que nos faltan.

In 2004 seven young musicians, all music students in Vienna, decided to form the Austrian brass and woodwind ensemble FEDERSPIEL. Creativity, spontaneity and fun are the prime ingredients of their compositions, arrangements and performances.
Folk music from Austria, its neighbouring countries and beyond is the basis of their live concerts and recordings. Compositions by the musicians themselves are the core of their repertoire. By producing great melodies and improvisation alongside great musicianship, the musicians of FEDERSPIEL have their own unique sound – always with a shot of humor and never taking themselves too seriously, though without a doubt the music speaks for itself ... simply great!
A frequent guests on radio and television broadcasts, the group has performed throughout Europe and in Canada, including appearances at the major Austrian music festivals, the TFF Rudolstadt and the WOMEX Showcase in 2015. Among their many awards, mention should be made of the Austrian World Music Award in 2015 and the German Record Critics Award (winner of listed albums 1/2017 in the categories "Crossover" and "Traditional ethnic music").
