Tripled fines in Santa Cruz de Tenerife
A work-to-rule protest by local police affects citizens

Currently, the local police in Santa Cruz are doing everything by the book. Any infringement detected is punished. Over the last three days fines have tripled.
The agents intend to put pressure on the City Council to meet their demands. Among other points they are asking to be paid for working on public holidays and weekends.
