Everything in nature is connected. There are more lynxes and fewer rabbits. Hunting is more difficult and wildcats move closer to roads. The A-4 is one of the most dangerous highways. The LIFE+IBERLINCE project is searching for solutions.

While these losses do not pose a threat to the recovery of the species, whose numbers continue to grow, they do delay efforts to take the Iberian lynx off the "critically endangered" list. Which is why ecologists are calling for greater efforts by the authorities. With the census not yet closed, LIFE IBERLINCE estimates that in the peninsula there are approximately 500 Iberian lynxes.
