The Monkey Week is in its final leg

More than 400 musicians and 135 concerts are billed for Monkey Week, an unmissable event featuring this country¿s independent music, and with two centre-stages: Alameda de Hercules and the Espacio Santa Clara venue¿ A macro-festival that the Seville  music scene has been crying out for. This weekend sees the final leg with a busy line-up¿

Speakers blaring out the decibels¿ This is how MonkeyWeek will see out its final leg this weekend¿ An event with an expected attendance in the region of 8,000 concert-goers daily, if the organisers¿ predictions are anything to go by. It features a line-up of more than 100 bands both from Spain and abroad. Around thirty of them of are pure Andalusian potassium¿ this is the ¿hard cash¿ line-up of the latest instalment of "Monkey Week".

The Espacio Santa Clara venue is the control and operations centre. The meeting place where artists and professionals in the sector can get together. The centre stage for gigs will mostly be in Alameda de Hercules. A festival that Seville¿s public has already claimed as their own. One which, on this occasion, also has all the ingredients for a great time dancing at a peaceful event...
