La Laguna hosts the largest exhibition of American silverware
Some 140 objects of great historical and artistic value linked to household goods and furnishings in America, most of which are silverware, are being displayed at the exhibition ¿La Casa Indiana¿ in La Laguna. The latter will showcase the most remarkable collection of American silverware outside the said continent.

The exhibition ¿La Casa Indiana: Domestic silverware and decorative arts in La Laguna¿ will be open to the public at La Casa de los Capitanes until 17 December and, as stated by the mayor, José Alberto Díaz, illustrates the position of the Canary Islands as a strategic fulcrum in communications and relations with the American continent and the East Indies through trade.
