In Casa África, in the Gran Canarian capital, 'Dakar, una mirada' ('Dakar, a perspective') is on exhibition. It depicts the day-to-day reality of the Senegal capital seen through the lens of photojournalist Mamadou Gamis.

Mamadou Gomis has spent more than 14 years working as a photojournalist in Senegal. Each day he publishes an artistic photo for the Senegalese newspaper Walf Grand-Place in which he captures, as a personal diary, life in the city of Dakar through a single snapshot ¿ a glimpse of the complexity of this city with more than one million inhabitants.
