823,000 Early Childhood, Primary and Special Education pupils begin the new school year today in Andalusia. A day filled with emotions and excitement; back to school, with old and new classmates on the first day of classes.

823,000 Early Childhood, Primary and Special Education pupils begin the school year today in 2,470 schools in Andalusia. The first day of the course, starting with the hustle and bustle of the families themselves and the teachers, who have everything in place to start back with classes.
This year 960,000 schoolchildren from compulsory education will benefit from free text-books, while 84 new schools will open as part of the bilingual network. A total of 1,450 schools will provide education in a second language.
