Noise from the harbour won't let residents sleep
In the neighbourhood of María Jiménez in the Tenerife capital residents haven¿t slept well for years. The noise at night from working being done at the port doesn't allow them to sleep. Oil rig repairs have added more than ten decibels to the noise level.

Residents in the neighbourhood of Mariá Jiménez in the capital of Tenerife haven¿t been able to sleep peacefully for years. The noise from the docks won¿t let them rest. Neither the town council nor the port have come up with a solution to the excessive noise at night. And the installation of new oil rigs has further complicated residents¿ ability to rest.
