Micro-algae have returned to Canary Islands beaches, and brought more controversy with them. A leaked report by the Spanish Bank of Algae says they may cause tumours. The Canary Islands Government denies it. Today the scientist who signed those analyses has said that the document has been misinterpreted.... Although he does recommend not swimming in the affected areas.
