More than 17,000 passengers aboard four cruisers in Cadiz today
A busy day is ahead for the port in Cadiz, with four large cruisers docking on the same day. Seventeen thousand people are aboard, including passengers and crew members. Finding space to park in Cadiz today will not be an easy job, even on the docks. This morning four larger cruisers docked, each around 300 metres long. The Britannia, the Aurora, the Disney Magic and the Independence of the Seas that, in addition to the "small" Belle of Cadix, which has been berthed in the harbor since yesterday, leave little room for the catamarans of Rota and El Puerto de Santa María.
Preparations for this types of giant Tetrises started months ago because, besides the ship manoeuvres, more than 17,000 people who have arrived aboard them have to be able to move around and use the few hours they have before departing to walk through the city or catch a taxi or bus to go on a trip.
