La Virgen del Carmen brought through the streets
The streets of La Isleta, in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, filled with worshippers who accompanied the Virgen del Carmen from 4 a.m.

Around 12,000 people gathered in the streets of the islet to accompany the Virgen del Carmen on the big day. It was one of the most highly attended celebrations in recent years, due partly to it falling on a Sunday. The Image left the temple at around 4:30 a.m. and returned at 11 a.m. with no complications.
