Graffiti Artist Belin
Artist Miguel Ángel Belichón, from Linares, also known as Belin, has just completed his last mural which decorates the back façade of the theatre inTorredonjimeno, Jaén .
The Council of this city in Jaén commissioned a mural which mixes the aesthetic value with calls for equality between men and women. Belin is one of the most internationally-recognized graffiti and street artists. His works can be seen on walls, but also in galleries across the world such as in Paris, New York, Bangkok, Rome or Singapore; even in his home town of Linares, through a tourist route which stops at his pieces of street art.
For the mural in Torredonjimeno, he has chosen the motto: father¿s love. He has created a self-portrait of himself hugging his daughter. Raised on a crane, he painted with the help of sprays for four days to leave his aesthetic mark and message in a new city that from now can boast about having a piece of work by Miguel Ángel Belinchón, the graffiti artist Belin.
