La Orotava goes on pilgrimage
Another year, and already in its 81st edition, the village of La Orotava is going on pilgrimage in honour of Saint Isidore and ¿Saint Mary of the Head¿.

Partying, tradition and religious worship return to roll through the streets of La Orotava. This year is the 81st edition of this pilgrimage. 90 wagons driven by a team of oxen are participating. The organisers estimate that this year more than 25 thousand people will participate in the celebration.
