The La Tarasca parade, accompanied by the traditional Gigantes and Cabezudos, has announced the most important Corpus days this Wednesday in Granada. The La Tarasca parade kicked off with Charanga music. A female mannequin on the back of the dragon, symbolising the triumph of good over evil: this year¿s exclusive design is romantic with touches of Lorca. The dress is the best kept secret of all years. And this time it has awakened passion.
And alongside her, the Gigantes, representing the Christian and Muslim Kings, and the tireless cabezudos.
The little ones enjoyed the parades and, also the Corpus Infantil rides in the Plaza Bib-Rambla. A square where you can find popular quintillas and carocas, comically referring to common themes of the year, such as the AVE train that never arrives and the last summer cinema in the city disappearing.
