The La Tarasca parade, accompanied by the traditional Gigantes and Cabezudos, has announced the most important Corpus days this Wednesday in Granada. A female mannequin on top of a dragon, this year a design inspired by the world of Lorca has triumphed. The parade through the main streets of the city was attended by thousands of people.

The La Tarasca parade kicked off with Charanga music. A female mannequin on the back of the dragon, symbolising the triumph of good over evil: this year¿s exclusive design is romantic with touches of Lorca. The dress is the best kept secret of all years. And this time it has awakened passion.

And alongside her, the Gigantes, representing the Christian and Muslim Kings, and the tireless cabezudos.

The little ones enjoyed the parades and, also the Corpus Infantil rides in the Plaza Bib-Rambla. A square where you can find popular quintillas and carocas, comically referring to common themes of the year, such as the AVE train that never arrives and the last summer cinema in the city disappearing.
