Construction and traffic on Tenerife's Southern Motorway
The resurfacing of the Southern Motorway will continue in stages until early August.

The usual traffic on the TF-1 has found an ally during construction. Work is being done during the night, however the current situation on the motorway is forcing cars to reduce their speed and causing traffic to build up. The first section between Guaza and Parque la Reina finishes this week, but work continues into another section. The municipal council will invest 60 million euros this year into improving the island¿s roads.
