Today, the club managers Ängel Haro and José Miguel López Catalán had a meeting with Lopera's lawyers and several proponents, in order to come to an out-of-court settlement. Only the Betis club organisation and Rafael Salas, candidate for the presidency, didn¿t attend the meeting.
Next Monday, 12 June, the trial against Lopera for alleged embezzlement and false administration will begin. The public prosecutor is asking for three years in prison for the former Betis head manager and 3.6 million in damages.
