Unemployment falls by nearly 3,000 people in the Canary Islands
Close to three thousand people found work in the Canary Islands during the month of May. These are positive figures, yet our region only registered a drop in unemployment of 1.3%. 22,000 people find themselves without work in the archipelago.

May's unemployment figures are positive, however the Canary Islands is creating employment at a relatively slow rate. The government confirms that productivity must increase. Close to 3,000 people have found work and the unemployment rate has fallen by 1.3%. 22,000 people are still looking for work.
